I Love Crayola

Sophia loves to color with markers and for the most part she's pretty good about only coloring with them on her coloring books or paper that we give her. The other day she was doing her thing... coloring away, content and happy. I decided to go play with Molly in the living room only a few feet away.

15 minutes later this is what I discovered...

Thank you to the people at Crayola for inventing "washable" markers. It took a bit of scrubbing by both Erin and I, but save for a few light blue splotches, it all washed of relatively easily.

Needless to say, I don't leave Sophia alone with her markers anymore.

Molly likes....

... both slapstick comedy and Young M.C.

Last night, while I was out, Jeremy played "Bust a Move" for the kids. Apparently, the baby went nuts, and laughed her head off like it was the funniest thing in the world.

This morning, she started laughing like a fiend during Elmo's World when she saw Elmo get pummeled by a mound of snow. This does not surprise me, as I can't stop laughing when someone is comically hurt. Here's hoping that she doesn't giggle when her dad gets hurt (like I do).

On another note: we're on the fence in terms of taking the kids to see Santa this year. Call us crazy, but we don't want another incident like last year, with the Half-Assed Santa of Doom.
